The hub enables remote control, management, and administration of the lock from anywhere in the world via the Internet.
Without the hub, you can only configure the lock settings (register fingerprints, set temporary and permanent passwords) via Bluetooth when you are in close proximity to the lock.
The lock has the unique ability to provide remote access to the apartment even in the absence of an internet connection.
